SECOND GR.1 WINNER IN MAY FOR VIVIANA

TATES CREEK (f. by Rahy) bounded clear through the stretch to earn her first Grade 1 success while caputuring the Gamely Breeders’ Cup H. at Hollywood Park on the 26th May.  Tates Creek became the second Grade 1 winner for her dam Viviana, joining half-sister SIGHTSEEK (f. by Distant View) who won the Grade 1 Humana Distaff H. on Kentucky Derby day.

Tates Creek has now taken her earning to over one million dollars.  In her 14 starts she has had an impressive 10 wins (6 graded stakes) and 2 seconds.

The family had further success on the 26th when ETOILE MONTANTE (f. by Miswaki) out of Willstar (full-sister to Viviana) took the Prix des Lilas L. at Compeigne. Etoile Montante has previosuly been 3rd in the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches Gr.1 at Longchamp on the 11th May.
