JUDDMONTE FARMS BREEDER OF THE WEEK

Khalid Abdullah’s Juddmonte Farms was represented well last weekend by SIGHTSEEK (by Distant View), who posted a remarkable 11½ lengths win in the Go For Wand Handicap Gr.1 on Sunday at Saratoga Racecourse, this is her third Gr.1 win in a row this year.  Half-sister to TATES CREEK (see below).

Owned and bred by Juddmonte, Sightseek earned $150,000 in the Go For Wand, helping contribute to the $447,497 earned by all Juddmonte-bred runners last week.  The other contributors included:

Decarchy (by Distant View) – 2nd Eddie Read H Gr.1, Del Mar.  Decarchy is half-brother to the Gr.1 winners EMPIRE MAKER, CHESTER HOUSE, HONEST LADY and CHISELLING.

Tates Creek (by Rahy) – 2nd John C Mabee H Gr.1, Del Mar.  This was Tates Creek’s third start of the year, having already won the Gr.1 Gamely Breeders’ Cup H at Hollywood Park and the Gr.2 San Gorgonio H at Santa Anita.

ZENDA (by Zamindar) – three lengths winner of a Saratoga allowance on Sunday and may make her next appearance in the Gr.1 Beverly D at Arlington Park on the 16th August.  Winner of the Gr.1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches in 2002 this is was her first start in America in 2003.
