FIRST WINNERS FOR CHESTER HOUSE
Chester House, a half-brother to Classic winner
Empire Maker, has sired two winners from his first crop in the last
10 days.
First-time starter and favourite Shakespearesister took a
three-length lead into the stretch and pulled away to an impressive
6 ¾ length victory. She is out of the Gr.1 winning mare Lady Shirl.
Shakespearesister is owned by breeder Dell Ridge Farm and is
trained by Bill Mott.
Exceptional Ride won a maiden race at Arlington Park on August
7th. The colt settled in sixth early and rallied down the stretch
to defeat 3-5 favorite Real Dandy by an increasing margin.
Exceptional Ride is out of the SP Adorable Slew by Dixieland Band.
He was bred by Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Randal, is owned by Eliah and
Lisa Kahn and is trained by Ken McPeek.
Chester House has 61 foals in his first crop of racing age. Empire
Maker stood his first season in 2004.
