EMPIRE MAKER GETS FIRST MARES IN FOAL

Twenty out of twenty three mares bred to Empire Maker up until March 23rd have been checked in foal. Among them are:

Brink (Forty Niner), owned by Gainesway Thoroughbreds & 707 Stables and half-sister to SWs Spire and District.

Cappucino Bay (Bailjumper), owned by Albert and Joyce Bell and the dam of grade 1 winner Medaglia d’Oro.

Carya (Northern Dancer), owned by Juddmonte Farms and the dam of Champion Ryafan.

Dokki (Northern Dancer), owned by Juddmonte and the dam of grade 1 winners Aptitude and Sleep Easy. Millionaire Aptitude stands at Juddmonte near Lexington.

Sluice (Seeking the Gold), owned by Denali Stud, and the winner of the Misty Isles Stakes and daughter of Gr.1 winner Lakeway.

Storm Alert (Storm Cat), owned by Shawnee Farm and the winner of the Spinning World Stakes.

Sunday Bazaar (Nureyev), owned by Juddmonte Farms and the dam of Gr.3 winner Perfect Sunday and Gr.1-placed Bartertown.

Willstar (Nureyev), owned by Juddmonte Farms and the dam of Gr.1 winner Etoile Montante.

Millionaire Empire Maker (Unbridled – Toussaud, by El Gran Senor) scored his big wins in the Belmont (Gr.1) and Wood Memorial (Gr.1) Stakes and the Florida Derby (Gr.1). He stands for $100,000.
