DEBUT SUCCESS FOR APTITUDE YEARLINGS

Aptitude’s first yearlings sold at the Fasig Tipton Kentucky July sale.

Six yearlings sold, averaging $96,000 (almost four times his stud fee of $25,000). They include a colt out of Tufa (Warning) that sold to John McCormack for $200,000. Ben Walden of Gracefield had this to say about the Tufa colt, “He’s a lovely horse. He’s got a beautiful, big, strong back and he’s a wonderful mover. He’s got a great attitude.”

There are 51 yearlings by Aptitude in the upcoming Keeneland September Sales including some very strong individuals with impressive female families.

Aptitude won the Gr.1 Jockey Club Gold Cup and placed in both the Gr.1 Kentucky Derby and Belmont Stakes.
