MILLENARY HEADING BACK TO HQ
MILLENARY, son of RAINBOW
QUEST who signed off last season with victory
in the Jockey Club Cup at Newmarket, could start his campaign as an
eight-year-old at the same venue in Sunday's Jockey Club
Stakes.
The John Dunlop-trained horse, who has already notched nine
Group-race victories, is among 11 entries for the
UltimatePoker.com-sponsored Group 2 contest.
Dunlop's racing secretary Marcus Hosgood said on Monday: "The
trainer will have a look at the five-day entries, and keep an eye
on the weather, as the horselikes a bit of ease in the ground.
"He has the Yorkshire Cup as an option. There is not a lot of
time between his two options, so he probably wouldn't run at both
Newmarket and York."
