stayed on well to take third in the Kentucky Derby on Saturday
night.
Living up to all the hype in the run up to this classic race,
STEPPENWOLFER found his rhythm after being bumped early on at
the start, made smooth progress from 19th to 8th position and then
held on well to take 3rd position 100yds from the line behind the
eventual winner Barbaro and second Bluegrass
