DONT DILI DALI DOESNT HANG AROUND
Stan Moore's Dont Dili Dali (Dansili) stayed on for third in the UAE Oaks yesterday to earn her first black type in the Listed race. Moore said 'I have to be pleased with that. It was an excellent effort and the target is now the Italian Oaks. Both the dam and second dam were placed in the race so it would be nice to improve on that. We'll also look at the Irish 1,000 Guineas.'
Corriolanus (Zamindar) later added to the young Juddmonte sires success when finishing second to Brazilian horse Punch Punch in the Ferrari Challenge over 12f. Beaten just 3/4 length Corriolanus added a further £20,000 to his £150,000 career earnings. Zamindar's yearlings made up to $200,000 in 2005 and averaged £26,500 and has 78 European 2yo's to run in 2006.
