CLASSICAL ASPIRATIONS FOR VIOLETTE
Sir Mark Prescott will have a runner in a British Classic for the first time in his 35 years as a trainer when either Violette (Observatory) or Confidential Lady runs in the 1,000 Guineas on May 7. However, Violette's plans could change as she is not sure to want a mile so she could go to Germany or Italy where they race round a bend. 'Violette is very well and she is quick - I trained the mother, Odette, who won five times over five furlongs.'
