HOMEWARD BOUND WITH A LISTED RACE IN HAND
After the weekend's action in France where
PRICE TAG (Dansili) was demoted from first to third position in the
Poule d'Essai des Pouliches Gr.1, HOME AFFAIRS was the next of his
sire's leading hopes to bring earn some blacktype this week.
Leading from the first furlong pole, the race favourite, HOME
AFFAIRS opened his account with a trouble free trip as he cruised
to victory unchallenged by the other contenders. After his third in
the Jersey St Gr.3 in 2005 Sir Michael Stoute described him as 'a
nice progressive horse' and on the back of this latest Listed win
he looks like an interesting prospect for 2006.
At the entry stage for the York May meeting and the Juddmonte
Lockinge Day at Newbury there appears to be some potentially
exciting days ahead for Dansili this week with the likes
of HIGH HEEL SNEAKERS holding some Oaks Trial entries and
SECRET NIGHT and CANTABRIA holding Listed
entries.
