Paris, beating the Gr.1 Prix Saint-Alary third Alix Road (Linamix)
by a neck. The winner, a son of Banstead Manor Stud stalwart
RAINBOW QUEST, has
already scored at Listed level this season.
The Gr.3 Prix de Conde went to the Spanish-trained runner Midnight
Beauty, who just got up in the final
strides to beat Massive (Marju) from the Mick Channon yard. The
winner, a E27,000 Tattersalls Ireland
September Sale purchase by MAB Agency, is a son of Celtic Swing,
and had already collected three wins at San Sebastian including the
valuable Criterium Internacional last time out.
