Ready Ballerine (Dansili) showed her class on her fourth start,
losing her maiden tag by an easy four
lengths. She is the first foal for her dam Ballerine (Sadler’s
Wells), who placed seven times. The latter is out of dual winner
Lisana (Alleged), the dam of six winners including Linnga
(Shardari), whose three
victories included the Gr.3 Prix Minerve and Liyoun (Shernazar),
who won six races and was Gr.1-placed. The third dam Licara (Caro)
won twice in France and was placed second in the Gr.3 Prix Chloe
and she is out of the Gr.3 Prix Cleopatre and Gr.3 (then) Prix
deMalleret victrix Licata (Abdos).
