SECOND GROUP 3 WIN FOR SON OF ZAMINDAR
Jubilation gained his second Gr.3 victory in
the Aon Stockholms Stora Pris, pulling clear from his rivals in the
straight and easing down to win by a length and a half. He and the
Gr.1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches heroine Zenda hail from the first
crop of Banstead Manor Stud’s Zamindar. A full-brother to the dual
European Champion Zafonic, Zamindar was a leading juvenile, winning
the Gr.3 Prix de Cabourg and finishing second in the Gr.1 Prix
Morny and third in the Gr.1 Prix de la Salamandre.
The strapping son of Gone West stands for £7,000 (special live
foal). Jubilation is the sixth foal of Jubilee Trail, whose first,
Peace Envoy (Warning) won the Heron Stakes before becoming a
champion in Barbados. A daughter of Shareef Dancer and the Gr.2
Ribblesdale Stakes victrix Miss Petard (Petingo), Jubilee Trail is
a fullsister to the leading Scandinavian performer Green Turban and
a half-sister to the Gr.2 Park Hill Stakes and Gr.3 Musidora Stakes
marvel Rejuvenate (Ile de Bourbon), the Pattern-placed pair
Colorific (Rainbow Quest) and Society Boy (Sir Gaylord) and the
Stakesplaced Kiss (Habitat), the latter of whom is the dam of the
Gr.2 Park Hill Stakes ace Casey (Caerleon) and the grandam of the
Gr.1 Prix de l’Abbaye heroes Avonbridge (Averti) and Patavellian
(Machiavellian).
