THE USA FRESHMAN SIRES
In America there are five clear leaders for whom there are great
expectations Vindication, Sky Mesa and Aldebaran all had yearlings
sell successfully in July, but there is possibly even greater
anticipation for Juddmonte’s classic-winning EMPIRE MAKER
(Unbridled – Toussaud), many of whose stock I have seen at
commercial and owner-breeder farms.
The conformation of some of those yearlings is truly
outstanding. Not only is EMPIRE MAKER by one of America’s most
sought after sires but Toussaud was an outstanding runner and
producer – she is also dam of Grade 1 winners Honest Lady, Chester
House and Chiselling, and the Grade 1 placed
Decarchy.
