ONE TO FOLLOW FOR BEAT HOLLOW

Riario (04 c BEAT HOLLOW ex Caterina Sforza by Machiavellian) bred by Scuderia Vittadini Srl started his racing career in fine style by beating 16 opponent in the Premio Giampiero Celati (7.5f soft) at Pisa on the 25th November 2006.

Riario has gone one better in 2007 by opening his account with a 2.5 lengths win in the Premio Torre Astura (8f good) at Rome on the 4th March.  This is the most important race for three-year-olds so far this year and a conditions race for classic contenders.

Riario is the 4th foal and 3rd winner of his dam Caterina Sforza (winner in Italy and 3rd Premio Baggio L and Premio Buontalenta L).  This is the family of PROSKONA (Champion 3yo filly in Italy in 1984) and KORVEYA (dam of HECTOR PROTECTOR, SHANGHAI and BOSRAM SHAM).
