MAKER was represented by his first winner on
Monday when Miss Red Delicious, making her second start, won a 5.5f
maiden special weight at Colonial Downs by 13.5 lengths.
Bred by Katerich Stables in Kentucky, Miss Red Delicious is the
first foal out of Grade 2 winner Miss Mary Apple, by Clever
Trick.
Juddmonte homebred EMPIRE
MAKER became the first horse to carry
Khalid Abdullah’s colours to US Classic success when ending
Funny Cide’s Triple Crown bid in the 2003 Belmont Stakes. The
son of Unbridled, one of five Graded winners out of the El
Gran Senor mare Toussaud, stands at Juddmonte Farms in
Kentucky for a fee of $100,000.
