A STAKES WINNER FOR MIZZEN MAST

Moonee Ponds (MIZZEN MAST - Lotka)
yesterday won the Bedanken Stakes by three lengths. Moonee Ponds, a
one length maiden winner over Fair Ground's main track on January
20th, switched to the turf for a course and distance allowance
score last time out on February 15th.
Looking for her third straight victory in her stakes debut, the
bay filly was on the lead from the start and sped home an easy
winner. Of his filly's third straight win in New Orleans, trainer
Tom Proctor said, 'Maybe she just likes crawfish.'
