HASILI TO VISIT STORM CAT IN 2007
Hasili, winner of the 2006 HJ Joel
Silver Salver for Broodmare of the Year and twice winner of
the Owner-Breeder International Broodmare of the Year Award,
has produced a filly by Storm Cat. The bay filly was born on
the 12th of February. Hasili will return to the leading
sire again in 2007. Juddmonte Farm’s General Manager Philip
Mitchell commented ‘We are delighted with her filly foal by
Storm Cat and a return visit to the sire seemed a logical
move, but it would be good to have a colt next
year.’
The filly is a half sister to the Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare
Turf/Eclipse Award winners Banks Hill and Intercontinental, the
Gr.1 Matriarch Stakes winner Heat Haze and Banstead Manor
Stud stallions Dansili and Cacique. Hasili currently has two of her
progeny in training with Andre Fabre - Gr.3 Prix Daphnis
runner up Champs Elysees and a currently unnamed Sadler’s Wells
two-year-old colt.
