NEW TWO YEAR OLD STAKES PERFORMERS FOR EMPIRE MAKER

EMPIRE MAKER'S DAIWA PREVAIL (JPN) finished ahead of his competitors when scoring a victory in Saturday’s Fuyo Stakes in Japan.  This two year old out of the Efisio mare Miss Vegas (IRE) is off to a precocious start.  This is EMPIRE MAKER’S seventh stakes winner.

Here stateside, Pioneerof the Nile (by EMPIRE MAKER out of Star of Goshen (Lord At War)) made his stakes and all weather debut in good fashion when finishing third in the Lane’s End Breeders’ Futurity Gr.1.  Having overcome a bad trip to make it up for third, this Bill Mott trainee is showing that he has what it takes to be a contender in major stakes races to come.
