MARE IN FOAL TO OASIS IS AT THE TOP OF TATTERSALLS TRADE

LUNATHEA was knocked down to Irish agent Brian Grassick for 150,000 guineas on the first day of the Tattersalls July Sale.

Consigned to the sale by Charlie and Alice Mason’s Silfield Bloodstock, the daughter of BARATHEA who offered with a covering by Juddmonte Farms’ OASIS DREAM, and is a half-sister to Group winning LUNA KYA and the Listed winner KING LUNA and hails from the family of Group 1 winners LINAMIX and LUNA WELLS. Grassick secured the six-year-old mare on behalf of an existing Irish agent , who withstood the efforts of Irish agent Bobby O’Ryan.
