EMPIRE MAKER PROGENY IMPRESS AT KEENELAND
It was another strong day at the Keeneland September Yearling sale for EMPIRE MAKER on Tuesday as his progeny entering the ring were sold for such figures as $950,000, $425,000, $400,000, $320,000, etc…. This followed the first day where the impressive full sister to Gr.3 winner ACOMA (by EMPIRE MAKER) was sold for $1.7 million dollars and Irish Emperor, a colt out of Irish Coco by EMPIRE MAKER, was sold for $625,000. So, in what could be termed a weaker market than usual, buyers are seeing the potential in EMPIRE MAKER’s offspring. Already a sire of 6 first crop stakes winners, EMPIRE MAKER is on his way to becoming an influential sire.
