WINGWALKER EARNS 25-1 GUINEAS QUOTE
Article taken from the Racing Post
By Graham Dench
Wingwalker (DANSILI) lit up Sandown’s final flat card of the season when overcoming traffic problems to win the 7f novice impressively.
In a steadily run race, Wingwalker was keen through the early stages, as he had been at Newmarket on his debut, then found himself trapped on the rail going into the final two furlongs.
But when Tom Queally eased him outside he quickened up smartly to beat Rileyskeepingfaith and Touching easily by two lengths.
Henry Cecil’s DANSILI colt was introduced to William Hill’s 2,000 Guineas betting at 25-1, and he is the same odds with VC bet for the Derby.
Cecil was not present, but he was evidently pleased with him and so were Queally and Khalid Abdullah’s racing manager Teddy Beckett.
