DANSILI FILLY MAKES STEP UP IN CLASS LOOK EASY
DANSILI’s three year old filly Strawberrydaiquiri (Travelling Victor) made the quick transition from winning her maiden to a smooth success in the Coral Distaff Listed Race on Saturday.
The rather un-usual coloured grey, Strawberrydaiquiri is DANSILI’s first stakes winner of that colour and is also the first stakes winner of her dam the extremely tough Strawberry Morn who won 15 races including three listed races and earned just a touch over $500,000.
The Racing Post were equally impressed with the success and quoted:
“Despite having won her maiden at Windsor by six lengths, she still had plenty to find on this debut in Listed company, but her trainer´s last two winners of the race came into it with similar profiles and one of them went on to land the Windsor Forest at Royal Ascot as a 4yo.
She was never far from the pace and it was apparent coming to the 2f pole that she was the one to be on. The course and distance looked perfect for her and a decent test at this trip should prove her optimum. A further step up in class is now on the cards and she appeals as the sort who would really come into her own as a 4yo”
