CHAMPS ELYSEES TEST MARE SCANNED IN FOAL

The Canadian Horse of the Year and Champion Older Horse Champs Elysees has had his test mare scanned in foal. The triple Gr.1 winner, a full-brother to Champion Sire Dansili, is the last son of Champion Sire Danehill to retire to stud in the UK.

Banstead Manor Stud General Manager Philip Mitchell commented, "This is excellent news and means we can start the season with full confidence of the horse’s fertility".

"Champs Elysees has a great temperament and breeders have given him excellent support. Juddmonte will be sending 24 mares, with the majority being blacktype winners or producers."
