15 WINNERS IN 15 DAYS FOR OASIS DREAM
OASIS DREAM’S winners are continuing to flow with Misheer and Main Aim giving the stallion two more high profile successes.
Misheer was a gutsy winner of the Listed Marygate Stakes at York beating Aalsmeer (whose dam is visiting RAIL LINK) – trainer Clive Brittain is now to aim her at the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Main Aim could also have Royal Ascot on his agenda after looking every inch a Group winner in the making when demolishing his opposition in a 6f handicap at Newbury on Saturday. His dam Orford Ness is due to produce a full sibling to the exciting colt any time soon.
Another impressive recent sprint winner is Border Patrol, who won the Listed Carnarvon Stakes at Newbury on Friday, and his dam has visited OASIS DREAM this season.
Further weekend news:
OBSERVATORY’S son Twice Over put up a brave performance in the Lockinge Stakes Gr1 at Newbury, battling on bravely to finish third behind Virtual (whose dam has a Dansili filly foal).
Twice Over’s dam Double Crossed was covered by OBSERVATORY again in 2008 and is due to foal soon.
OBSERVATORY was also represented by his first 2yo winner of the season when Davie’s Story won a 6f event at Rome, building on a promising debut over 5f earlier in the month.
BEAT HOLLOW had a successful weekend with winners in England, Ireland and Italy and he has also been busy in the breeding shed – one of the most recent mares he has covered being the dam of the recent Chester Gr.3 winner and Coronation Cup hopeful, Doctor Fremantle.
