YOUNG SIRES ON THE MARK IN GERMANY
Article taken from the EBN
Banstead Manor Stud’s OASIS DREAM notched up his 11th Pattern winner of the season when Querari, a Listed winner at Baden-Baden last time out, scored for the first time at Gr.3 level in the Euro Cup at Frankfurt. The threeyear-old colt, owned and bred by Gestut Fahrhof, made all and kept on in great style to beat Adolfina (Sholokhov) and Norderney (Dai Jin) by two and a half lengths and half a length.
From a good German family, Querari has the 1993 Gr.2 German 1,000 Guineas winner Quebrada (Devil’s Bag) as his second dam, and the 2001 Gr.1 Preis der Diana heroine Silvester Lady is a grand-daughter of his third dam.
OASIS DREAM'S stars this season have been Gr.1 winners Midday (Nassau Stakes), Aqlaam (Prix du Moulin) and the unbeaten Arcano (Prix Morny).
