The juvenile Italian Listed winner Field of Dream (Oasis Dream) has joined Bedford House and will be trained by Luca Cumani with hopes high for his future prospects. The colt won by six lengths on his debut at San Siro and quickly added the Listed Premio Alberto Giubilo at Capannelle.
“He is a blessed young horse, a fine prospect and he showed just a small part of his talent in Italy. I’m very proud to send a juvenile like Field of Dream abroad; it is evidence that we can produce a stallion prospect in Italy. He is a beautiful individual, out of a Group One winning mare and by a promising sire,” said trainer Bruno Grizzetti.
Field of Dream, bred by Grundy Bloodstock, is the sixth foal out of Field of Hope (Selkirk), who won the Gr.1 Prix de la Foret and produced Olympian Odyssey (Sadler's Wells), third in the 2,000 Guineas behind George Washington and Sir Percy. Field of Hope, who is from a female line developed over the past decades by Franca Vittadini’s Grundy Bloodstock, has a yearling colt by Dansili and a colt foal by Teofilo.
