OASIS DREAM - A SIRE OF EXCEPTIONAL VERSATILITY
With two Listed race winners at 5 and 10 furlongs and a hot conditions stakes winner on Polytrack this week, OASIS DREAM is proving himself to be a sire of exceptional versatility.
On Saturday OASIS DREAM’s Sugar Free (Fasliyev) scorched home in the 5 furlong EBF Land O'Burns Fillies' Stakes Listed for Trainer Tommy Stack and Owner Rick Barnes of Grangecon Stud.
Yesterday one of OASIS DREAM’s toughest and most genuine fillies Lady Jane Digby (Niniski) lengthened away impressively from her rivals in the European Breeders’ Fund Hoppings Stakes Listed over 10 furlongs, to win by 5 lengths. Congratulations must go to her owner, Miss Kirsten Rausing and trainer, Mark Johnston for a well deserved success.
And then to top it all off Juddmonte Farms’ homebred, Cloudy Start (Alleged) won impressively by 3 ¾ lengths in a hot conditions stakes at Kempton over a mile on the Polytrack.
The Racing Post wrote, “Cloudy Start, successful off a mark of 88 in an Epsom handicap last time, was joint worst in at the weights but he made a complete mockery of that with a devastating display. Sent straight into the lead, he stretched his field starting up the straight and was never in any danger from that point. Again the way the track was riding may well have been helping him, but there is little doubt that he is a colt on the up”
