CLASS PREVAILS

Following the first day of the Fasig-Tipton Selected Yearling Sale at Saratoga, averages were down; however, it didn’t stop MSTS from going to $435,000 for the EMPIRE MAKER filly out of Half A.P.  Out of a half sister to champion juvenile, Breeders’ Cup winner, and multiple Gr.1 winner Halfbridled, this filly landed herself in the top 10 lots offered on the day.  From a family steeped in Graded stakes performers, and keeping in mind that she is bred on the same cross as Halfbridled,  it can be hoped that she will follow the same path of other class acts by EMPIRE MAKER and be seen competing at the top level of competition as she matures.
