Dansili’s daughter Proviso won the sixth race of her career – and her first at Grade One Level - when winning the Frank E Kilroe Mile Handicap at Santa Anita on Saturday night, in the process becoming the first mare to win the race.

Proviso had previously won two Group Three races in France and also finished first past the post in the Gr1 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes at Keenelend on her US debut. Dansili’s progeny have a good record in the United States with Price Tag (Matriarch Stakes Gr1), Diamond Diva (Cashcall Mile Invitational Gr2) and General Jumbo (Kentucky Cup Turf Stakes Gr3) all making their mark at Graded level.
