PRETTY Polly Stakes winner Promising Lead produced her first foal at Juddmonte Farms in Kentucky last month, a colt by Empire Maker.
The daughter of Danehill is booked for a return visit to Juddmonte's US-based flagship sire.
Promising Lead hails from one of Juddmonte's deepest families as a close relation to Dansili, Banks Hill, Cacique and Intercontinental. Her dam, the Bahrain Trophy winner Arrive, is a sister to the outstanding producer Hasili and also the dam of Gr.1 placed Visit and last year's promising Newmarket maiden winner Revered.
Trained by Sir Michael Stoute, Promising Lead won four of seven starts. Her finest moment came when defeating Mad About You to take the 2008 Pretty Polly Stakes at the Curragh but she was also successful in the Gr.3 Middleton Stakes.
