JUDDMONTE'S FABULOUS ASCOT RUN CONTINUES
Article taken from the Racing Post.
The Juddmonte Stallion operation picked up where it left off at the Royal meeting yesterday when Approve handed OASIS DREAM his second winner of the week in the opening Norfolk Stakes Gr.2.
Approve’s success maintained the fabulous Royal Ascot run of Juddmonte and their Stallions, which peaked on Wednesday when OASIS DREAM (sire of Rainfall), DANSILI (Strawberrydaiquiri) and ZAMINDAR (Timepiece) were responsible for half of the winners.
Another Banstead Manor Stud resident, OBSERVATORY, came close when Twice Over was second to fellow Khalid Abdullah-owned Byword in the Prince of Wales’s Stakes.
Approve, who is out of a half-sister to the Listed-place pair Alo Pura and Ivory Gala, is the first stakes winner from the fourth crop of OASIS DREAM and the stallion’s third winner within a week after Lady Jane Digby and Rainfall.
And later in the day DANSILI was on the mark again courtesy of the Elite Racing Club’s homebred Dandino, who won the King George V Handicap.
The ball continued to roll on Saturday for DANSILI with Harbinger running out an easy winner of the Hardwicke Stakes Gr.2, quickening clear 2f out to win with plenty in hand. The four-year-old son of DANSILI has now won 4 Group races and looks like one to follow for the remainder of the season.
