PURPLE PATCH FOR JUDDMONTE STALLIONS

Juddmonte stallions OASIS DREAM and DANSILI celebrated an excellent weekend, between them siring the winners of five Stakes races in four different countries.
OASIS DREAM was responsible for the Gr.2 Santa Barbara Handicap winner Tuscan Evening, as well as the Gr.3 Premio Carlo Chiesa winner Alta Fidelta. The former, trained by Jerry Hollendorfer for William de Burgh, was winning for a fifth time in Graded company on Saturday and is likely to have her next start in the Gr.1 Gamely Handicap. Versatile with regard to trip, her Stakes wins this year have ranged from six and a half furlongs to a mile and a quarter. Bred by Hascombe and Valiant Studs, she is out of the Gr.2- placed The Faraway Tree (Suave Dancer), a half-sister to the Gr.1 Prix d’Ispahan winner Sasuru (Most Welcome).
DANSILI’s son Harbinger, trained by Sir Michael Stoute for Highclere Thoroughbred Racing, started the purple patch when winning the Gr.3 John Porter Stakes at Newbury on Saturday in the style of a horse who will be holding his own in better company. Yesterday Famous Name won the Listed Heritage Stakes at Leopardstown and Abaton, who comes from the family of Goldikova, completed a Listed double for DANSILI when winning the Premio Natale di Roma at Capannelle. Furthermore, he was also the sire of the impressive two-year-old debutant winner Zoffany, whom trainer Aidan O’Brien mentioned as a Royal Ascot possible.
Famous Name (DANSILI) has won three Group races and his form fully entitled him to win the Heritage Stakes as he did, easily accounting for Recharge (Cape Cross). A homebred out of the Quest For Fame mare Fame At Last, he comes from the family of the Champion Makybe Diva (Desert King).
Additionally BEAT HOLLOW's Lovisa Beat was placed third in the Listed Premio Seregno in Milan.
