LEADING SIRE IN EUROPE BY 2YO GROUP WINNERS
OASIS DREAM'S two-year olds have carried all before them at the Ebor Meeting so far this week.
Waiter’s Dream got the ball rolling when running out a clear winner of the Acomb Stakes Gr.3 on Tuesday. The Brian Meehan-trained colt could now be targeted at the Dewhurst Stakes.
On Wednesday Approve claimed his second Group Two success with a determined victory in the Gimcrack Stakes, in the process giving OASIS DREAM his second consecutive win in the race. Approve could also be heading to Newmarket – with the Middle Park Stakes on his agenda.
Pabusar nearly made it a hat-trick of juvenile blacktype successes at York for OASIS DREAM when coming within a neck of winning the Listed Roses Stakes, the first two pulling clear of the rest of the field.
To prove his versatility as a sire, OASIS DREAM was also responsible for four-year-old The Fonz, who won the opening 12 furlong handicap.
