GROUP DOUBLE FOR CHAMPION SIRE

Dandino (DANSILI) put up a gutsy display to land the Jockey Club Stakes Gr.2 on Saturday at Newmarket, just getting the better of Native Ruler on the line. The four-year-old son of DANSILI was placed in Group company last season, having finished second in the Gordon Stakes Gr.3 at Goodwood but this was a brave display to win his first Group race. Dandino's next run is likely to be in the Coronation Cup Gr.1.

Only an hour later at Longchamp, Epic Love provided a double for Champion sire DANSILI. She confirmed the promise shown when winning her maiden by four lengths last month to land the Prix Vanteaux Gr.3, wearing down another Juddmonte sired runner La Pernelle (BEAT HOLLOW) to win by a head.
