OASIS DREAM FILLY TOPS TATTS FEB SALE

Juddmonte-consigned Full Steam, lot 174, was the second highest priced filly ever sold at the Tattersalls February Sale, making 160,000gns to Anthony Nerses.

The daughter of OASIS DREAM won a Conditions race at Chantilly and then spent last season running in stakes races, including lining up in the Poule d’Essai des Pouliches Gr.1 where she finished only nine lengths behind the winner Special Duty.

She boasts some illustrious connections as a daughter of the Listed-placed Western Appeal, a sister to Zafonic and ZAMINDAR.

"It's very hard to get into this family," said Nerses, who had to fight off Patrick Cooper of BBA Ireland. "She is an excellent addition to our broodmare band. She is the 14th mare we have and is nice-looking. I'm not sure who she'll go to." (Quote taken from the Racing Post 04/02/11)
