TWICE OVER ON COURSE

OBSERVATORY'S dual Champion Stakes winner Twice Over sailed passed his rivals in the Al Maktoum Challenge Gr.2 - a prep run for the world’s richest race the Dubai World Cup Gr.1 - at the Meydan Racecourse in Dubai last night. OBSERVATORY'S son Twice Over has now won or placed in his last six races including wins in the Coral Eclipse Stakes Gr.1 and the Champion Stakes Gr.1 for the second time. OBSERVATORY also has the exciting Helleborine, currently second favourite for the 1000 Guineas Gr.1, to look forward to in 2011.

Twice Over’s dam Double Crossed is a half-sister to Clepsydra, the dam of DANSILI'S Group 1 winner Passage of Time and Group 2 winner Father Time as well as Timepiece, a Listed winning daughter of ZAMINDAR, who remains in training with Henry Cecil. Clepsydra’s daughter All Time (DANSILI) has an entry in the 1000 Guineas and her two-year-old colt also by DANSILI is in training with Henry Cecil as well. Clepsydra recently foaled a full-sister to Timepiece and will be back to visit DANSILI this year. Double Crossed recently produced a full sister to Twice Over and is visiting OASIS DREAM in 2011.
