LISTED WINNER FOR BEAT HOLLOW

Nature Spirits (BEAT HOLLOW) put up an impressive performance in the Derby de l'Ouest L at Nantes yesterday afternoon, beating the opposition by two lengths to give her sire BEAT HOLLOW his fifth blacktype performer this year so far.

A Niarchos family homebred, Nature Spirits is closely related to the Beresford Stakes Gr.2 winner Curtain Call (Sadler’s Wells), who also landed the Mooresbridge Stakes Gr.3 as a four-year-old, when he was also second in the Royal Whip Stakes Gr.2. Their dam, the placed Darshaan mare Apsara, is a half-sister to five stakes winners, most notably Prix du Jockey Club Gr.1 and Prix Lupin Gr.1 winner and successful sire Hernando (Niniski) and Prix Lupin Gr.1 winner and sire Johann Quatz (Sadler’s Wells).
