TESTOSTERONE ADDS TO DANSILI'S STAKES TALLY
DANSILI has been enjoying a real purple patch in recent weeks and Testosterone added to this when winning the Prix du Royaumont Gr.3 at Chantilly on Sunday. This was DANSILI'S ninth Group winner of the season.
Testosterone, trained by Pascal Bary for Ecurie La Boetie, made most of the running and quickened clear inside the final 400m for a three-length success on her first start in Group company, having been third in the Prix de La Seine L last month. She was followed home by the Kahyasi filly Chehei Has, with Campanillas (Montjeu) two lengths back in third.
The winner was bred by Scea La Poterie and is a dual graduate of Arqana sales, most recently when sold to Broadhorse Agency for just €15,000 at last year’s Breeze-Up Sale at Saint-Cloud. She is a daughter of the Listed-placed Epopee (Sadler’s Wells), whose dam is a half sister to Gr.1 winner and leading Australian sire Scenic. This is also the family of Rainbow Quest, Warning and Commander In Chief.
