FIRST STAKES SUCCESS OF THE SEASON FOR DANSILI

Surfrider, by DANSILI, gained his first Group race success when winning the Prix Djebel Gr.3 at Maisons-Laffitte.

The race is a noted Classic trial, having been won in the previous two years by 2000 Guineas winner Makfi and Prix du Jockey Club winner Le Havre.

Surfrider, who is out of the Rahy mare Ecoutila, was sold for 105,000 guineas at the 2009 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 1. He is now reportedly to be aimed for the Poule d’Essai des Poulains.
