ROBUST START TO TATTERSALLS OCTOBER SALES
DANSILI and OASIS DREAM have both had multiple high priced yearlings sell at the Tattersalls October Sale and are both currently boasting very healthy averages of around 190,000gns.
A colt (pictured) out of the Old Vic mare Flawly, the dam of Group winners Best Name and February Sun, was DANSILI's top yearling – selling to Demi O’Byrne for 480,000gns. The first foal of Listed winner Silver Pivotal also created lots of interest, being bought for 260,000gns by Charlie Gordon-Watson. The same agent also paid 150,000gns for a DANSILI colt out of Breeders’ Cup Mile
OASIS DREAM has had three yearlings sell for over 300,000gns – headed by the colt out of Kassiopeia who was bought by Demi O’Byrne for 700,000gns. Amanda Skiffington paid 400,000gns for a half-sister to Prix Maurice de Gheest winner King’s Apostle, while Demi O’Byrne paid 320,000gns for a granddaughter of Yorkshire Oaks winner Key Change.
ZAMINDAR has also had a productive sale – with an average price of 90,000gns and a top price of 180,000gns for a half-sister to Gr.3 winner Obama Rule.
