Salary Drive, who was ahead of just one horse while falling 11 /2 lengths behind the leader after the first six furlongs, rallied under Chuck Lopez to capture the Dauphin Miss for 3-year-old fillies by two lengths over 28-1 outsider Artemus Kitten. The winner, based at Monmouth Park with trainer Ed Plesa Jr., completed a mile on soft turf in 1:36.12.
