FIRST CROP FIRST DEFENCE YEARLING SELLS FOR $120,000
In a sale which saw total trade figures increase by an impressive 83% (as reported by the Thoroughbred Times Today), Accomplished 10, a filly from the first crop of lightening quick FIRST DEFENCE brought $120,000 at the Fasig-Tipton New York Bred Preferred Yearling Sale on 13th August. The filly, a half sister to stakes winner Sarah Accomplished, surpassed her stud fee nearly seven fold. She was among the top ten lots sold on Day 1 of the sale and was a contributing factor to FIRST DEFENCE ranking among the top sire of yearlings sold during the New York bred sale. Sixteen of his progeny are catalogued for the Keeneland September Yearling Sale.
