ZAMINDAR 1-2 IN GR.3 CONTEST
Article taken from the EBN, 09/09/11
ZAMINDAR enjoyed a brilliant 1-2 in the Prix d’Aumale Gr.3 when Zantenda beat Rajastani by a neck yesterday afternoon at Longchamp. The winning juvenile filly was held up and came on the outside to take the lead a furlong from home, swooping late to beat her paternal half-sister in the closing stages. This was only the second start for Freddy Head’s filly, who won her maiden at Deauville at the end of last month and looks to be a very smart prospect for the future.
Both Zantenda and Rajastani are by Banstead Manor Stud’s leading juvenile ZAMINDAR, whose nine Group winners include five fillies who have triumphed at the highest level in Coquerelle, Darjina, Timepiece, Zarkava and Zenda.
