A BRIGHT FUTURE FOR RAIL LINK'S TWO YEAR OLDS
Champion three year old RAIL LINK, who defeated 18 Group 1 winners on his way to winning an extremely competitive renewal of the Prix de l’Arc De Triomphe, has his first two-year-old runners this year.
Richard Brown of Blandford Bloodstock bought two RAIL LINKS, which are both currently in training with David Simcock. The first is a filly named Hello Dubai, which was purchased at the Doncaster Premier Yearling Sale and described by Richard Brown as being “well balanced, a classy filly with a great outlook.” The second is an unnamed colt out of For Example.
David Simcock is pleased with these two-year-olds, saying: “Both are of a good size and extremely athletic, likeable individuals. They are both horses who have a bright future and are straightforward to deal with.”
Juddmonte supported RAIL LINK very heavily in his first crop and have 33 two-year-olds in training. Lord Grimthorpe, Racing Manager to Khalid Abdulla, reports: “Our trainers are very happy with the RAIL LINKS and we have been rewarded with some very highly rated individuals who have been sent to Andre Fabre (trainer of RAIL LINK), Sir Michael Stoute, Henry Cecil and John Gosden amongst others.” Lord Grimthorpe also added: "They are thriving since going into training.”
RAIL LINK'S two-year-old colt out of Aspiring Diva has been assigned to Dermot Weld, who trains his three-parts sister Emulous (Group 3 winner) and Barry Hills has received a RAIL LINK filly out of Well Warned, the dam of Listed winners Emergency, Prior Warning and Prohibit.
