EXCITING NEW WINNER FOR THREE VALLEYS
First season sire THREE VALLEYS notched up yet another exciting two-year-old winner when Slewtoo won on debut at Kempton yesterday. The bay filly, owned and bred by Dachel Stud and trained by Marco Botti, overcame a difficult draw and late start to win readily, prompting her trainer to describe her as a potential blacktype winner for the future.
The Racing Post (22/12/11) reports:
“SLEWTOO looks to have a bright future after storming down the outside to make a winning debut. She had to sit at the back of the field after breaking a little slowly and raced a little free, but she picked up in taking style in the straight… She looks sure to win plenty of races.
Trainer Marco Botti said: “I think Slewtoo did well to win from where she was drawn first time out. It was a very good quality race and she showed a very good turn of foot.”
He added: “She is very genuine and tries hard, and has the makings of a blacktype winner.”
