DANSILI'S 2 YEAR OLDS OFF TO FLYING START
DANSILI'S two-year-olds have got off to a tremendous start in 2011 – boasting a 100% winners to runners ratio.
Fire Lily, a daughter of Group 2-winning sprinter Beauty Is Truth, got the ball rolling at Navan when easing to a comfortable win in the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden Stakes, impressing her trainer David Wachman and jockey Wayne Lordan.
Requinto had made an eye-catching debut for the same connections over 6 furlongs at Leopardstown earlier in the month, showing blinding speed and only being headed in the final 50 yards. Dropped down to 5 furlongs for his second start, the son of Phoenix Stakes/Queen Mary winner Damson was an easy winner at Cork at the weekend, again showing blistering pace and marking himself down as a two-year-old to watch.
Another of DANSILI'S offspring which has caught the eye is Testosterone, a three-year-old filly who won the Prix de la Madeleine by an impressive five lengths on Tuesday. The Jour de Galop described her as being in a "different class to her rivals" as she "lengthened effortlessly" to land the spoils. She is held in very high regard by her connections who think she could be a potential Group filly. After the race trainer Pascal Bary said: "She has a perfect attitude and I think she is very good."
