DANSILI'S PURPLE PATCH CONTINUES
Another thrilling weekend of racing saw DANSILI’s progeny come to the fore with blacktype winners on both Saturday and Sunday.
DANSILI had a total of four winners on Saturday with the best of them being Ferdoos, a progressive filly who gained her first blacktype success when battling on gamely to win the Pinnacle Stakes L at Haydock by a neck from the previously unbeaten Vita Nova. The pair pulled four lengths clear of the third horse home and look to have bright futures. Ferdoos is entered in the Noblesse Stakes Gr.3 but according to her trainer she may well wait until the Lancashire Oaks Gr.2 for her next start.
Bewitched and Zoffany continued their sire DANSILI’s winning streak when coming home first and second in the Ballycorus Stakes Gr.3 at Leopardstown on Sunday. This was Bewitched’s third Group 3 win following on from last season’s success in the Renaissance Stakes and Bengough Stakes respectively.
