Z DAGER RALLIES IN DERBY PREP

Narrowly missing the win in the Lecomte Stakes Gr.3 at Fair Grounds on Saturday, Z Dager (MIZZEN MAST)  has proven that he could be a force to be reckoned with in 2012. 

The $100,000 Keeneland September 2010 purchase nearly bested the winner Mr. Bowling, only missing the challenge by a head. This start, only his third after breaking his maiden second out in December over the same track, showed the Zayat colobearer coming on strong at the finish. Displaying professionalism beyond his experience, Steve Asmussen trainee Z Dager could be one to watch on the Derby trail.
