AVENUE GABRIEL PLACED IN DEBUTANTE STAKES

First crop sire CHAMPS ELYSEES was represented in the Debutante Stakes Gr.2 at the Curragh yesterday (11th August) by the Paul Deegan-trained Avenue Gabriel, and the filly did not disappoint, finishing an encouraging third.

Avenue Gabriel - who is owned by Lady O'Reilly and was bred by Plantation Stud - won her debut race in June before becoming her sire's first blacktype performer last month when third in the Silver Flash Stakes Gr.3 at Leopardstown. She holds an entry in the Fillies' Mile Gr.1 at Newmarket later in the season.

CHAMPS ELYSEES is a brother to the leading British-based sire DANSILI.
